Have you ever had your lunch stolen just when the bell was about to ring? When you were really, really hungry? I’ll bet you got mad. I sure did . . . many times.

Did you ever want to get back at the “lunch thief”? It’s natural to want revenge. But what if you found out that the “lunch thief” had a secret that would explain why he or she stole your lunch? Would it change your mind about wanting to get even?

In a roundabout way, I came to ask these same questions, and the result is my first story picture book:
